The Issue
We’ve heard it all before.
People twist themselves in knots trying to argue that Washington, DC
should not be a state with equal Congressional voting rights.
If you don’t like it, then move.
The legislative process is too difficult.
If DC becomes a state, then my state’s voice is diminished.
We reject them all.
Washington DC is our home. We’re going to fight for statehood to ensure
we’re equally represented in Congress, no matter the difficulty.
